Art Blocks remains one of the most successful NFT platforms in the industry. First of its kind, Art Blocks is an Ethereum-based NFT platform that allows artists to create original NFT artworks based on alphanumeric figures generated by the Ethereum blockchain.

Users can mint their own unique NFT art just by picking a preferred style on the platform, paying for it and in turn, the NFT content is randomly generated via an algorithm on the Ethereum blockchain.

According to Cryptoslam, Art Blocks has recorded over US$1 trillion in sales volume since late 2020 when it started.This certainly makes the platform one of the most successful in the industry. Owing largely to its uniqueness and myriads of opportunities it provides to users.

A typical question that comes to the mind of art lovers is if these computer-generated pieces of art can be compared with traditional arts. However, it is important to note that NFT arts generated on Art Blocks have their varying uniqueness that make them stand out from other NFTs.

Ranking among the top NFT artists on Art Blocks, Owen Moore has recently made a mark for himself generating NFT arts inspired by the recent COVID 19 pandemic.

Owen Moore is an independent artist who is passionate about creating unique generative artwork. His second Art Blocks project - “Quarantine” was generated as a form of reflection on the initial outbreak of COVID 19 around the world.

The Quarantine NFT art features varying patterns occurring in stages with abstract concepts quite similar to the Tibetan Mandalas.

Bård Ionson - NFT Generative Artist

Bård is popularly known for creating NFT arts that draw inspiration from the physical, digital and spiritual worlds. His arts are often infused with hidden layers of meaning and multiple dimensional backstories.

He typically uses symbols of gender, sexuality, luck and the cosmos to generate unique NFT arts on the platform. One of the uniqueness of Bard’s NFTs is the varying patterns of their animated displays. Over 300 generative arts have already been minted on the Art Blocks platform.

Tyler Hobbs - Sold NFT Art for Over US$3 million

Tyler Hobbs is considered one of the most successful artists on Art Blocks. His artwork, “Fidenza” has been tagged the most versatile algorithm till date. The famous artwork was recently auctioned for roughly US$3.3 million (1000 ETH) on Art Blocks and has over 999 pieces with each unique upon minting.
